Sometimes you work for strangers, sometimes for friends, and sometimes even for gwypfp sister wives! We (Jen, Andrew and Rowan) are expecting an addition to our family and wanted to capture the 3+ of us before the little one arrives. It was a gorgeous morning and shooting downtown was awesome — it gave such a different but fabulous feel to our photos!! It was fun being on the other side of the camera for once – and Jacquie and Chantelle captured the essence of our quirky family. Thank you so much. Stay tuned for the arrival of the newest member of the gwypfp extended family!
What does it take to make a little girl’s first birthday party spectacular? Bring together a few of her friends and family. Add in some Kindermusik entertainment and some “Very Hungry Caterpillar” cupcakes. Then, capture a few of her very first steps (just LOOK at that proud smile!). And voila! Birthday parties don’t get much better than this… Happy birthday, Leni!
An early morning + a teething toddler could have been a recipe for disaster, but this family did amazingly well. While it might not have been easy for him to smile through the whole session, little Magnus did his best to let us capture his best grin. It was such a pleasure doing a photo shoot with this awesome family!
Sometimes clients book shoots for specific events (i.e, weddings, birthdays, etc.) and sometimes, like in Kelly’s case, they just want to book a shoot to bring pause to those moments that seem to pass us by so quickly. Thank you, Kelly, for inviting us to share the afternoon with you and your amazing boys.
One of the best things about doing family photography is when a family requests a return photo shoot. It is so much fun to see how much everyone has changed and grown. When the Magdalinskis contacted us again this year, we were excited to hear that they had just welcomed little Fiona to their family in April. An adorable baby, a super cute big brother, and very proud parents made for a fun shoot and some great family photos.
