Finally, a new blog post! Life and photography got way too busy for awhile, but better late than never, and we’ll catch up….
We were very excited to photography Nicole and Jason’s big day as they chose two dates for their winter wedding. They first had a small formal ceremony with immediate family on December 29th….then, they had a fun 200 person New Years Eve party two days later. They even let us convince them to go outside for their formal shots….in MINUS 20 degree weather…and smiled through it all. It made for beautiful wedding photos despite (or perhaps because of) the cold! Congratulations to you both. xo
A Winter Wonderland Wedding
Suzanne and Mike chose one of the most unique spots we’ve had the pleasure of shooting a wedding at so far: Em-Te Town, Alberta! The website describes it as “an authentic western frontier town tourist attraction and resort.” Frontier it was, indeed. Congratulations on your special day!
A special day in a frontier, hoedown kinda place…
Megan and Steve had a beautiful wedding in the Camrose and Rosalind area on “May the 4th” that featured some Star Wars fun, a hilarious wedding party…and the dress! Check out this dress. Megan wore a family heirloom that was more than 50 years old and simply stunning. Congratulations to you both!
It was a beautiful evening in May, running around town to capture Mikal and Suzanne’s engagement photos. We covered everything from gorgeous lush trees and the inside of a funky cafe to ‘interesting’ back alleys. We have the pleasure of shooting their wedding in a couple of weeks and can’t wait. Rural Alberta, here we come!
“Hey, are you up for sitting on a chair we found in an alley?” “Sure.”
“Interested in doing a handstand on the corner of Whyte Ave?!” “Why not!”
“What about posing in front of a public washroom…?”
Well, you get the picture! And so did we. Cheryl and Lori were great sports and we have the photos to prove it. Head to our Facebook page and check out their whole photo shoot in the awesome video.
